Roof Overcoat with Acrypol Metal Kote in Aldridge Walsall
Industrial Roofing in Walsall was tasked to replace roof screws and overcoat an industrial roof with Acrypol Metal Kote on behalf of Aldridge Joinery Components in Aldridge, Walsall.
The industrial roof spanned 800 square metres over four slopes and was showing advanced stages of corrosion, plus the client required a ten year warranty to extend the existing lease.
With this is mind, a decision was made to use Acrypol Metal Kote, which is specially formulated for metal roofs and carries the vital ten year warranty. The job took a team of three of our Walsall industrial roofing experts four days to complete.

Early stages with the cherry picker transporting plant and materials onto the industrial roof.
The metal corrugated sheets had a plastisol coating, which is now failing allowing rust to take hold.
The white lines surrounding the GRP rooflights are carefully applied edging with the Acrypol Metal Kote.
It is the same as cutting in so the sprayer can spray away from the roof lights, avoiding over spray.
